Imperfection traversed the lines between art and design. The intention of these experiments was to be used as a form of model making or brainstorming for forms and aesthetic qualities that could not be conceived otherwise through drawing or model making. It uses the theme of imperfection which is inherent in hand thrown ceramics and usually avoided at all costs and proves that imperfection is what people yearn and search for. When controlled and contrasted with perfection it can provide enormous aesthetic appeal that can be captured and replicated in design. when understood.
These 3 sets explore 3 different states in ceramics. Each single piece used a different technique and experiment then the others to produce varied results.
